Instructions
Step 1 of 7:
Soak chickpeas overnight in water. Rinse and drain.
Step 2 of 7:
Chop onions, garlic, and bell peppers.
Step 3 of 7:
Sear the beef in oil in an open pressure cooker. Add onions, garlic, bell peppers, and tomato paste, and mix together.
Step 4 of 7:
Once the ingredients are toasted, add the spices, chopped tomatoes, and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil for one minute.
Step 5 of 7:
Finally, add the soaked chickpeas to the pot and stir.
Step 6 of 7:
Close the pressure cooker. Set the cooking level to 3. Once the yellow ring appears, reduce the heat. When the green ring appears, the 30-minute cooking time begins.
Step 7 of 7:
Remove the pressure cooker from the heat and let it steam release.
