Guide to pan protectors

Purpose of use

Pan protectors for uncoated and coated pans

Aluminium pans with Non-Stick Coating in particular, such as frying pans, woks, or wok pans, should be protected during storage in the cupboard.

Coated Fissler pans feature premium coatings with a non-stick effect: ceramic coatings free from PFAS/PTFE as well as excellent, health-safe coatings based on PTFE. All Fissler pans are free from PFOA in accordance with EU Regulation No. 2019/1021.

For Fissler pans with high-quality Non-Stick Coatings, we recommend using Kitchen Accessories made of wood or silicone so that the coating lasts as long as possible. The Adamant® pan series is equipped with a particularly scratch-resistant, water-based PTFE coating reinforced with silicon carbide particles. Rounded metallic Kitchen Accessories can even be used with these.

To ensure that no scratches occur during stacking either , we recommend the Fissler felt pan protector.

A pan protector can also be used with stainless steel pans as a shock absorber between the individual products.
