Ingredients

300 g Puy lentils
½ pack Baking powder
200 g Whole milk chocolate couverture
2 tbsp butter
3 eggs
3 tbsp sugar
Oil

Instructions

Step 1 of 6:

Wash the lentils and put them in the pressure cooker.

Step 2 of 6:

Close the pressure cooker according to the instructions, set the cooking crown in the lid to level 2 (quick cooking level) and bring the contents to a boil with full stove power. As soon as the yellow ring becomes visible, reduce the energy supply. When the green ring appears, the cooking time of 15 minutes begins. After the cooking time has ended, let the pressure cooker steam off and open it according to the instructions.

Step 3 of 6:

Remove the lentils and let them drain. Puree them with the baking powder until a smooth paste is formed. If the dough is too crumbly, add a little water.

Step 4 of 6:

Melt the couverture with the butter in a water bath. Add to the lentil puree and mix well. Stir in the eggs and sugar.

Step 5 of 6:

Lightly brush a non-stick pan (Ø 28 cm) with oil, pour in the cake batter and smooth it out. Bake for about 30 minutes in the lower third of the stove setting with the lid closed.

Step 6 of 6:

If nothing sticks to a wooden skewer when inserted into the batter, the cake is done and can be inverted onto a plate.

Tip:

If the dough is too liquid, add some flour or starch.
Serve the cake with delicious vanilla sauce or whipped cream.
