Spätzle pan with paprika cream sauce

Short on time but still in the mood for a tasty meal? To go with that, today we have a delicious recipe from @experimenteausmeinerkueche for you - spaetzle skillet with pepper cream sauce.

Ingredients

800g sliced chicken
1 tsp. oil
1 - 2 tsp. sweet paprika
1 tsp. Italian chicken seasoning
1 tsp. salt
2 peppers
2 tbsp. tomato paste
250ml water
250ml cream (here: cream substitute with 7% fat)
500g spaetzle from the chilled section
salt, pepper

Instructions

Step 1 of 5:

 

Heat oil in a large Frying Pan, sear the meat in it, and season.

Step 2 of 5:

 

Wash the peppers, cut into strips, and add to the chicken. Fry for 2 - 3 minutes.

Step 3 of 5:

 

Add the tomato paste and cook briefly. Deglaze with water and cream, then bring to the boil.

Step 4 of 5:

 

Add the fresh spaetzle and stir in well. Simmer until the peppers are cooked to your preferred bite.

Step 5 of 5:

 

Season again with salt and pepper, then serve.
