Sweet Chili Sauce

Ingredients
| 2 cloves of garlic | |
| 3 | Chilis (mild or hot) |
| ½ | Red bell pepper |
| 4 tbsp | Rice vinegar |
| 4 tbsp | light soy sauce |
| 100 g | cane sugar |
| 200 ml | Water |
| Salt |
Instructions
Step 1 of 6:
Peel the garlic, wash the chili peppers and bell peppers, and cut into large pieces.
Step 2 of 6:
Tip: The seeds in the chilies are often very hot. You can remove the seeds or process them according to your taste.
Step 3 of 6:
Roughly mix garlic, chilies, bell peppers, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and water.
Step 4 of 6:
Bring to a boil in a saucepan and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5 of 6:
In parallel, in a small bowl, stir the cornstarch with 2 tbsp cold water until smooth and no lumps remain, then add to the chili sauce in the pot.
Step 6 of 6:
Continue to cook briefly until the sauce thickens slightly, season with salt, and remove from heat. Let cool and store in a sealable jar in the refrigerator.
