Ingredients
| 300 g | Flour |
| 500 ml | Milk |
| 4 | eggs |
| 1 pinch | salt |
| A little butter or frying oil for deep-frying. |
Instructions
Fluffy Batter:
To avoid small lumps of flour, do not mix all the ingredients together at once; first combine the flour and milk, then add the eggs and salt. Stir everything into a smooth batter.
Tipp: For an extra fluffy batter, you can add a splash of mineral water at the end – the carbonation creates tiny bubbles during cooking.
Cook Until Golden Brown:
The perfect pancake is made over medium heat. You can even use butter for cooking, even though it is usually so delicate: it browns slowly and gives the pancake a light caramel aroma.
Tipp: When it comes to equipment, it is best to use a non-stick Frying Pan and only use Kitchen Accessories with a silicone coating in it. That way, nothing sticks and you can even save on fat. Let the pancake turn golden brown in Calm and flip it after about 2-3 minutes.
Special Ingredients:
The simple pancake batter can of course be refined to suit your taste. For a savoury version, you can add various spices such as pepper, herb salt or even chilli to the batter, and sprinkle hearty cheese on top straight in the Frying Pan.For sweet moments, add a little cinnamon, vanilla sugar, apples, strawberries or cocoa powder.
Tipp: If you want to try making slightly thicker American pancakes, you can add a teaspoon of baking powder to the batter and should place slightly smaller portions of batter into the Frying Pan without any fat.
And the best thing about homemade pancakes: Everyone can decorate them however they like with different extras, so every hungry sweet tooth gets exactly what they want. Ready, steady, cook!
