Large-capacity pots are ideal when you cook large portions or for many people. Instead of using many small pots, you only need one large pot. This saves you time and energy. Large pots are also suitable for certain dishes with a lot of liquid, helping you achieve optimal cooking results and prevent anything from boiling over.

Fissler therefore offers saucepans and cooking pots with a capacity of up to 15 litres. These are made from up to 90% recycled, high-quality 18/10 stainless steel and are especially durable.

What is a large-capacity pot?

Fissler large-capacity pots are pots with an especially large capacity. They are characterised by tall sides and are therefore ideal as spaghetti pots, for large portions, and for dishes that require a lot of liquid, such as:

Stews
Soups
Goulash

In contrast, pots with a large frying surface and a low rim are classed as roasting pans or casserole pots.
Condensation collects on the tall sides and on the Lid. Thanks to the slightly concave curve of the metal lid with Condensate Plus function, condensed steam drips back into the pot, making food even juicier and more flavourful.

How many people is a 15-litre pot suitable for?

A Cooking Pot with a capacity of up to 15 litres is suitable for especially large or numerous portions.
At Fissler, you’ll find the right pots for every use. Which pot size you need depends on the size of the portions and the type of preparation. The following sizes are available:

up to 3 litres: suitable for 1–2 people
up to 5 litres: suitable for 2–3 people
up to 10 litres: suitable for 4–5 people
Large-capacity pots up to 15 litres: from 5 people
