In 1845, the young tinsmith Carl Philipp Fissler laid the foundation for what Fissler is today with a small workshop in Idar-Oberstein. What began back then still defines the brand today: a close connection to craftsmanship, a commitment to quality, and the ambition to inspire home cooks around the world with premium Cookware. Every curve, every edge, and every surface reflects our experience and passion.
Fissler is deeply rooted in Rhineland-Palatinate – and even after more than 180 years, it remains a family business in its sixth generation. Over the decades, knowledge has been passed down: from developing our own tools to precise, skilled assembly. The fact that many of our colleagues have been with Fissler for 20, 30, or even over 40 years enables us to deepen expertise across generations.

Our production
Made in Germany. Since 1845.
Excellent cookware is created where precision, experience, and craftsmanship come together. That's why Fissler cookware is manufactured in Germany , in the heart of Rhineland-Palatinate . Since 1845, we have been developing and producing premium cookware here, meeting the highest quality standards.
In addition to our own production facilities, we have our own product development, laboratories, and quality assurance departments in Germany. This allows us to ensure that every product bearing the "Fissler Quality" seal meets the highest standards.
We can control every step ourselves: carefully selecting materials, continuously improving processes, and integrating innovative technologies directly into production. Short transport routes and the use of up to 90% recycled stainless steel are integral parts of our operations.
Despite the support of high-tech robotics, a Fissler pot passes through 100 hands and goes through an average of 63 production steps.
From raw material to favorite pan
How does a Frying Pan for life come to be from a wide variety of materials? Using our Adamant® Collection as an example, we take you inside our factory in Neubrücke, Hoppstädten-Weiersbach and show you how our coated Frying Pans are made using the impact extrusion process. At the same time, we are working on converting this process to the flow-forming process and will continue to share exciting insights into the manufacturing process in the future.

It begins with a round
Our Adamant® Frying Pan starts out as an aluminum blank, which we source from a German premium manufacturer. After the blank arrives and passes quality inspection, things get loud in our production hall: on a stamping press, an induction base is permanently bonded onto the aluminum blank.

Leveling & Greasing
How is the shape of your Frying Pan created? The blank is spun over a drawing form shaped like a Frying Pan. This process is also called planishing. The excess material is then removed and turned into a smooth rim. During intensive Cleaning, all grease residues from the forming process are removed.

Sandblasting, embossing, welding
The pan body is now sandblasted to increase the surface area and ensure optimal grip for the coating. The Frying Pan is then pressed to achieve its final shape and stability. Finally, all components are permanently joined by welding.

Interior & exterior coating
The finished pan body is transferred to the coating plant and the sustainably produced, water-based non-stick coating is applied in three layers.

Final steps
The coated pan bodies are then dried in special facilities until the non-stick coating has hardened.
After the final cleaning, the handles are mounted and the packaging is done.
