Guide for 26 cm pans

Which Frying Pan Size Is Right?

To find the right Frying Pan size, you should first know what you need the Frying Pan for. Do you often cook larger portions for several days or for 2 to 3 people?

The base of the Frying Pan should also match the size of conventional hob plates to ensure an even heat supply. If the base of the Frying Pan is too large, the Frying Pan will not heat up completely. If the base of the Frying Pan is smaller than the hob plate, valuable energy is lost.

A Frying Pan with a diameter of 16 cm is suitable for preparing a fried egg and a small omelette. A Fissler Frying Pan in 20 cm is ideal for frying two fried eggs or pan dishes for one person. Three fried eggs fit perfectly in a Frying Pan with 24 cm. For larger portions, we recommend a Frying Pan with a 28 cm frying surface.

How the Diameter of a Frying Pan Is Measured

The diameter of the Frying Pan is measured at the upper inner edge. This is important so that universally fitting Lids can be offered.

The frying surface is called the pan base and is slightly smaller than the stated diameter. With a Fissler frying pan with a diameter of 26 cm, you have a frying surface of 19 cm with the Classic pan body and a frying surface of 21 cm with the Comfort pan body.
